O Fear, how scary you are!

forcing to be afraid of love, afraid of hate,

afraid of losing one’s own faith,

afraid of the future, and what it holds,

afraid of growing so cold!

O Fear, how savvy you are!

of making matrices of crazy permutations

and terrifying combinations,

of coming up with unending

loops of ‘if-then’ imaginations recurring!

O Fear, how sneaky you are!

attacking body first then mind, how smart!

manifesting as pounding heart,

dizzy head, a lump in throat,

sweaty palms, tightness of chest!!

O fear, how helpful you are!

little did I knew,

the moment I face you,

I unravel deepest layer within me,

unlocking the next level of my life, that endears me.

Now I know, next time you knock my door ,

I will tell myself that you have something great for me in store!

I will be courageous, set myself up for an ambition.

I will be ready to go beyond every limitation!
